Take Back Our Mountains non-profitCommunity safe hikes and runs
Safety in numbers: organised group hikes, trail runs and rides through the hotspots.

The Western Cape’s mountains, beaches and coastal views make Cape Town the adventure capital of South Africa. Take Back Our Mountains brings locals and international visitors together to enjoy them safely: a platform for hikers, runners and cyclists to join organised events and meet people who love the outdoors.
Safety in numbers is where TBOM began, with monthly hikes through the worst-affected areas drawing hundreds of people. Our events have marshals, radios and safety gear, so everyone gets home safely.
