Guided hike above Camps Bay and Sea PointLion’s Head
Lion’s Head is one of the most iconic and rewarding hikes in Cape Town, with panoramic 360° views of the city, Table Mountain, Camps Bay and the Atlantic Ocean. The path circles the mountain as it climbs, before a steeper final section to the summit. That last stretch has ladders, chains and some light scrambling, and there is an easier path that avoids them.
Dutch settlers in the 17th century named it “Leeuwen Kop” for its shape.
