Guided hike on the slopes above the city bowlWoodstock Cave
The Woodstock Cave hike mixes history, adventure and wide views over Cape Town. The trail starts on the lower mountain paths above the city bowl and climbs through fynbos to a large cave tucked beneath the cliffs, a natural rock shelter overlooking the harbour, the city and the Atlantic coastline.

The cave is a peaceful resting point and a favourite spot for sunrise and sunset. For centuries, caves around Table Mountain gave shelter to travellers, shepherds and indigenous communities moving through the range.
