Cape Agulhas is the southernmost point of Africa, about 230 km from Cape Town. Stand at the marker where the Atlantic and Indian Oceans officially meet, climb the red-and-white lighthouse for the view along the coast, and walk out to the rusting wreck of the Meisho Maru 38 nearby. The drive passes through the wheat fields of the Overberg and the town of Bredasdorp, with its Shipwreck Museum.
The Agulhas lighthouse was first lit in 1849, making it the second-oldest working lighthouse in South Africa. Its museum tells the story of the many ships wrecked on this stretch of coast.

How does the price work?
The price is for the driver and vehicle, not per person: R5 500 for a half day or R6 500 for a full day in a sedan (1 to 3 people), and R6 000 or R7 500 in a van (1 to 8 people).
What is included?
Your own driver and vehicle. Entry fees and meals are not included.
Do I pay a deposit?
For bookings more than 30 days ahead, a 15% non-refundable deposit secures your date, with the balance due 48 hours before. Bookings within 30 days are paid in full when you book.
Are your vehicles licensed?
Yes. All our vehicles carry the right insurance and permits, and every driver holds a professional driving permit.
